Let?s start my today?s piece with a lovely new hang out in capital Isloo! Samina Lakhani, a leading fashion entrepreneur, launched her ?M?lange caf? in federal capital here last week.
M?lange caf? offers a variety of dishes from Soups western to continental, from BBQ to salads of your choice to sweets to die for and mouth watery stuff in door and out door area to sit in heart of Isloos ? plush F 6 area. At the launch which was a galore of high society Begumaat, an obvious Rezz Event, Lakhani said the cafe would cater to the needs of upper and middle-income classes accustomed to high class eating hang outs with fair pricing . ?M?lange is a channel, where the country?s top designers can reach out to the general public with their latest fashions all under a single roof and now some fabulous food in side line for the visitors to grab a classy bite or just chill as a caf? and eating hang out,? she said.
Lakhani said the idea was to offer the best food and the best shopping splash in the heart of the capital under one roof. The design and interior decor of M?lange fashion cafe is comparable with any world-class chain of cafes and thanks to Impact designer Usman Salim Khan who has done fantastic ventures in and outside Pakistan. Well Done Usman!!! ?I have found a lot of things and I really like and appreciate this idea of Samina Lakhani to bring fashion of Lahore and Karachi at Islamabad?s fashion and social scene for the very first time and also to open a classy and tasty food caf? for people to enjoy another place with comfort and style,? said Aaminah Khan, a guest at the launch ceremony of the Cafe. One actor is going places with super good looks and loads of talent ! Ahsan Khan is a British-born Pakistani actor known for his adolescent looks. He started his acting in the early 2000s. He appeared in the films Nikaah and Ghar Kab Aao Gay. He then moved into television. Now he continues to work for different Pakistani channels and gained much success.
Khan began acting when he appeared in Nikaah and the very same year did Hans Ki Chaal for PTV. Nikaah was a super hit while the play, with Firdaus Jamal Sahib and Sana, was not as successful. Ghar Kab Aao Gay, the film in which Indian singers were introduced for the first time under pseudonyms, was also a hit. Khan later appeared in the late Ashfaque Ahmed's Shala Kot. He was offered so many good projects that he decided to work for TV only.
Khan has an identical twin brother, two elder sisters and an older brother. During his childhood, Khan's family frequently moved between England and Pakistan. He was doing his Masters degree in English Literature from Government College University, Lahore, but had to postpone it because of acting. He plans to finish it later on. He is married now girls out there had a heart break for each one of you as this lad is taken! His latest projects on the screens are Tarang tea add, directed by ace director par excellence Asim Raza which stars Lollywood queen Saima and the clothes by fashion guru himself Umer Saeed and Ismail Fareed shot in Karachi and Lahore. It is a very glamorous add and I would like to pad Asim bhai for his brilliant add and Ahsan for looking super slim and cool! Watch out for this handsome lad in his upcoming serial 'Vasl' directed by Mehreen Jabbar shot in Florida (USA) and
Karachi which is produced by Momina Durand of Hum Tv and casts Faisal Rehman, Ahsan Khan, Ayesha Khan, Juggan Kazim, and seasoned star Badar Khaleel. My best wishes with you Ahsan and may you shine bright always! Ameen.
Please let Isloo breath! As the world is progressing and new and international franchises are opening up in India, I heard that there is a petition regarding why Isloo?s only Mac Donalds is there !!!! OMG Please, !! That?s the only leisure place for young and the old as it has a huge parking and a nice walk track too. I read in paper that Court bench directed Capital Development Authority (CDA) to submit original layout plan of F-9 along with documents about the sector?s Fatima Jinnah Park and establishment of a fast food outlet on its premises, by January end and adjourned the hearing.
The bench issued these directions during the hearing against the establishment of McDonald?s outlet in the park. The court had taken a suo motu notice of the matter in 2006.
The bench observed it would decide about the fast food outlet after thoroughly examining original layout plan of F-9 and documents about Fatima Jinnah Park and establishment of McDonald?s outlet. I read in paper, a case had been filed with the court in 2006 and that a notice was issued to the CDA to explain as to how land of a park was leased for establishment of a food outlet in the park. Please let the things like international chains and Cinemas grow and let the younger generation have some breathing space, as it will be very sad if these places are shut! World is going forward and we would go back wards! Please!
This dam winter spell and that too dry has left people sneezing and remaining indoors near heaters in the entire winter season this year in Isloo. Flu related diseases including cough and soar throat, pneumonia and diarrhoea are spreading everywhere, as the ongoing long dry spell persists.
